Side Effectsof Cornflour

Roadmap Thailand - Day 8

26 août – 8H30 – SUKHOTAI – 26°C – 72% d’humidité

Aujourd’hui, grasse mat ! Bah en fait elles n’étaient if not immune to it last night and they took the water all night! We take our little bf and leave the residence. We call a Songthaew, sort of city buses, to reach the old city.

this old city in ruins is the first capital of Siam, now Thailand. We discover a complex of several sites in ruins with statues of Buddha very well preserved. Very nice walk, despite oppressive heat. We survive thanks to some welcome breezes ... On the way, we recover some seeds not hatched under a tree. It will be the new challenge Fafa! After the baobab, are asked to see!

Back at the hotel, a small passage to the bathroom a little help wet towel to cool off a bit and go! We take a tuk-tuk to get to the bus station. The tuk-tuk and driver are no longer a first youth! At least we al'temps to admire the scenery and come see our accident!

We arrived in Phitsanulok and resume a bus to get to the station to take a night train ...! Ouuuh the aventuuure!

We arrive at the station at approximately 19.00 and ask the teller two berths for the night train. He answers: "FULL! "(Full). There, I laughed ... Bah two yellow seats then! SNCT dirt!

We deposit our bags in a small dug- which are already stored in other bags such as ours and let us take a ride on the market, right next to the station. We savor the spring roll and soup noodles that stings just a little bit ...

To kill time, we talk with some merchants and a Thai-born American tourist. He tells us to hallucinate what became his country! Too many movements, tourists ... It was apparently already returned eight years ago, but that's crazy change there was ... the word "crazy" is in every sentence! Pupuce plays with the children of the traders taking photos. They come from everywhere and are placed within 50 cm from the camera! They waved back a bit ... Their parents, amused, telling them also back in Thai, but nothing works! J'leur tell me to go to bed at all!

21H00 - Still no train. I go to the window to see how many there will be late. The teller wrote on a piece of paper 21:30. Dirt of SNCT!

9:40 p.m. - The train finally arrives. We discover our cozy bed: a car seat with tiltable, fan and windows wide open.

Tataki Tataki ... ... ... tataki Toune told me: "You see, it's nice night trains! At least you Can not See the time go! ... "... But of course! ... But hey, he did not anticipate that we would not bunks!

Tatatak tatatak ... ... tatatak ... What's happening? It accelerates a max here! I can not write so we rocked in every sense! Y has a finish that will not fall off the train! Yes, I've not said passengers were installed in the entrance hall of the car doors wide open. It is better not to them that the train takes a turn too dry!

Tataki Tataki ... ... ... tataki is slowing down ... phew ... it did not look very stable it all! It is now past 3:00 ... I'll try to close one eye, but it is not won! ... ... Tataki tataki tataki ... ... ... 3:30 Bon bah it still will not this time! ...

We stop at a station ... While some were prepared to go down, others wake up with a start 3 minutes after the train stopped and descended like a whirlwind, one eye two open, hair all disheveled ... Good thing the train has not already left! ... Toune wakes up and takes the opportunity to squat a double seat, just to be a little more comfortable snooze for ... Vendors pass through each car during stops at stations. It's funny ... they sell drinks, food. This time it was the glasses of milk and coffee and bottled water. Earlier in the evening, someone went to sell bowls of soup and food wrapped in banana leaves. There is no restaurant car at SNCT; is the restaurant that comes to you ... We restart. Hawkers descend quickly from the train already in motion ... ... tataki tataki tataki ... ... ... tataki

4:00 - The bottom of the air begins to cool off ... I would say it does limit chilly! ... I certainly support the switch ON / OFF, positioned just above my head, just to turn off the fan ... But if ever this is not the switch on the fan ?!... In doubt, I prefer not! ... ... ... Tataki tataki tataki tataki ... ... ... tataki tataki tataki ... ...

6:00 - I (toune) address once again after arriving at the station CHANG May

It was an incredible night ... rotten! Big experience the night train unberthed! A Thai ahead with a sign with our names. C'coup it I can stay with Pupuce. We board the van. The ride lasts only 6mn but I'm ge-lee! A person responsible for security greets us and takes us to our bungalow. Just enough time to undress and we literally collapse. It is 7:00 in the morning '...
